That was lovely Suzanne – the scenery – the photos of the two of you – and the different times and seasons. I loved the little canoeing video bit too – it reminds me of how peaceful it is to canoe down a river – so much better than anything with a motor on the back!

Leanne, thank you. Those photographs span about five years of day trips and local outings. We really love where we live. That canoe trip was on a natural spring in central Florida. It is a very peaceful place to enjoy nature.

Wow! What a great video, Suzanne. I love the sound of the splash of water in it. Is that really a blue alligator? Those beaches looked so deserted. Were they really that quiet?
I’ve driven from Miami to Key West and loved the drive. We had to stop for a few alligators crossing the road but never got out of the car. Too scary.
How long did it take to put the video together?

Awesome! I love this, Suzanne! Amazing captures, especially from the moving wildlife. Your love of nature, your love of your husband shines through. You look amazing. Goosebump sunsets. The overlapping of the music and the sounds of the ocean greatly add to the video. The heart at the end brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for making my morning and ultimately my day. Beautiful!❤️

Erica, thank you for your kind words. I am glad our zest for life and commitment to each other comes through these photos. We love where we live and how we live. I’ve had some time on my hands this month (Covid got us) and decided to play around with video editing. Fun project. Thanks for stopping by. It is always nice to hear from you.

Hugh, I’m smiling at the ‘blue alligator’, but yes, he was a grayish/blue which read very blue in the lens. I went with it. The beaches are that isolated – at least the ones we choose to visit. Further south (Ft. Lauderdale, Miami) they get crowded. The video took a while, as I was learning while creating. Hopefully, the next one will be easier. Thanks for noticing the ‘splash.’ I thought that added a whimsical touch. Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, it did, as did the other sounds. I liked how the music faded on some of the video clips so we could hear the sounds of what you were experiencing as you took the videos. All clever stuff, Suzanne.

Suzanne! What a lovely capsule of our beautiful Florida! I surely miss those sunsets over the water. The Birds! Perfect!

Thank you Jane. Malcolm and I have had Covid, so I had some time on my hands to play around with photos. The sunsets and sunrises have been glorious lately. It’s good to hear from you. I hope all is well in Texas!

Awesome job! That must have been a fun-filled project. It was hard for me to pick a favorite, but I loved the Pelican. What was the bird after the Osprey? Hope your COVID wasn’t too bad. I got the second booster and it made me deathly sick. Have a great week! Joe

Hi Joe, just something to do while I’m cooped up in the house. It was fun though. I think that bird is an Anhinga. I could be wrong. I suppose we won’t need the second booster now. It’s a shame it made you sick. I’ve heard that from a few friends. Take care and thanks for stopping by.

Very nice! Thank you for putting this together and sharing it with us. So many of the pictures could have been taken on my (SoCal) coast, but others were pure Florida (like the alligator… yikes!).

Hi Janis, most of these were taken at my favorite beach, just a few miles away, and some were taken in other parts of Florida. You are right though – some of them could be SoCal beaches. You and I are both very lucky to live where we do. I could use a little of your dry heat about now!

A beautiful look at your FL. It seems peaceful and the colors charm me. I like beach-y shades and the idea of sunshine almost every day. Thanks for sharing this here.

Simply wonderful! You inspire me to try and take pictures more often. We went kayaking on the Weeki Watchi River last month and not a single picture. Darn it.

I found Weeki Watchee fun. Really kitchy, but fun. We did the Mermaid Show and then the kayak “float” down the river (added $).
