Captured Moments – Cold In Florida

Rarely do the temperatures drop below 50 degrees in South Florida, so last week when local meteorologist sounded the alarm, we braced ourselves and headed for the beach! Seriously, there is nothing more beautiful than watching a weather system roll in from the ocean, especially when the temperature is dropping like a rocket!

Please enjoy our version of a whiteout!

Changes in weather can be both frightening and beautiful. Hope you warm up soon!

  3. Mmm lovely. We used to enjoy going to Lake Michigan in all seasons when we lived in Chicago. Winter brought a unique beauty to the shores.

I love that it never looks exactly the same two days in a row. Sunlight, cold air, clouds, wind; it reacts to every stimulus and becomes even more beautiful.

I can feel the spray of the waves and the crisp air. I’ve been wearing so many layers here in Maryland I’m surprised I can walk! 🙂

I think the photo depicts Winter in Florida very well. So glad it didn’t look like that for long. Never lived up North and can’t imagine daily functions in so many clothes. Stay warm, spring is around the corner!
